About us

Hi there, welcome to Rosa Alchimia, I'm so glad you're here!

We create handcrafted poetic jewellery using real preserved botanicals cast in eco-resin, sterling silver, and gold-filled metals. Transforming delicate fragments of nature into wearable keepsakes, each piece is thoughtfully designed to preserve beauty, hold memories, and celebrate the perfectly imperfect individuality found in nature.

The Artist

I’m Camila Rosa, a Brazilian designer and the one-woman team behind Rosa Alchimia.

I’ve always loved creating things by hand and transforming what’s around me. Rosa Alchimia was born from that: from an old passion for jewellery making first taught to me by my grandmother, from nature’s beauty and symbolism, and from a lifelong fascination with fire (which caused my parents a fair amount of stress when I was a kid).

After some tough years finishing my PhD, I rediscovered jewellery making during a journey of self-discovery and returned to something that had always felt like home. Today, Rosa Alchimia is my way of bringing those worlds together, transforming fragments of nature into wearable keepsakes meant to preserve small moments and turn them into something precious and lasting. All work is carried out in my home studio located in Munich - Germany.

The Process

Each piece begins with a real botanical element: a petal, a leaf, or a small fragment of nature chosen for its beauty, character, or unexpected details.

When working with botanicals in eco-resin, I carefully dry and preserve them before pairing them with sterling silver and gold-filled metals, creating jewellery that feels both delicate and enduring. When working with precious metal clay, I create moulds using fresh foraged botanicals, which are then shaped and fired, transforming them into fine silver.

No two petals are ever identical, and that uniqueness is intentionally preserved rather than corrected. Every piece is handcrafted slowly, embracing slight variations in colour, texture, and form as part of its story, a small wearable keepsake born from nature, shaped by hand, and transformed by fire.

Our Philosophy

Rosa Alchimia is built on the belief that jewellery should be made with intention and created to last, not only in quality, but in meaning. Like nature itself, it is seasonal, limited, unique, and beautiful in its imperfections.

Working with real botanicals means embracing variation rather than mass-produced perfection. Every piece carries its own shape, colour, texture, and character, making it truly one of a kind.

I aim to make thoughtful choices throughout the process, from using materials like eco-resin and recycled metals to choosing FSC®-certified and recyclable packaging. Small-batch craftsmanship is at the heart of Rosa Alchimia, focusing on timeless design, slower creation, and keepsakes made to be worn, kept, and treasured.

I believe jewellery is more than adornment, it is a way of holding onto something meaningful and expressing a part of who we are.

Why Rosa Alchimia?

Rosa is my surname, but it also carries a deeper symbolism. In alchemical imagery, the rose is the symbol of perfected silver and gold, materials that are central
to my work and to the idea of transformation itself.

Alchimia, in its medieval Latin form, is a blend of early science, philosophy, and experimentation. it speaks to change: the process of turning something
ordinary into something precious. It reflects exactly what happens in each piece, a fleeting natural fragment, preserved and transformed into jewellery made to last.

Together, Rosa Alchimia represents the meeting of nature, memory, and craftsmanship, where something ephemeral becomes permanent.
