The materials we surround ourselves with matter. At Rosa Alchimia, I use high-quality and more conscious materials, sourced from trusted suppliers and chosen for their beauty, durability, and longevity. I work with precious metals such as solid 925 sterling silver, solid 999 fine silver, and 14kt gold-filled metals, selected for their quality and long-lasting wear. These materials are nickel-free, lead-free, and generally suitable for sensitive skin.
Each piece is handcrafted to be worn, loved, and kept for years. Designed to accompany you through everyday moments, thoughtful care will help preserve its beauty for years to come.
Eco-Resin & Botanicals
Real botanicals are delicate by nature, and preserving them means embracing both their beauty and uniqueness. The flowers, leaves, and natural fragments used in each piece are carefully dried and preserved in eco-resin, a more conscious alternative to traditional petroleum-based resins.
As with all natural materials, subtle shifts in colour and appearance may occur with time and sunlight exposure, becoming part of the unique character and story each piece carries.
Care tips:
• Store in your Rosa Alchimia box away from prolonged direct sunlight, heat, and humidity
• Remove before swimming, showering or using lotions ad harsh chemicals
• Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth and a small amount of rubbing alcohol if needed
Sterling Silver & Fine Silver
Sterling silver and fine silver are precious metals chosen for their beauty, durability, and timeless character. Sterling silver contains 92.5% pure silver and is typically alloyed with copper to increase its strength, while fine silver contains 99.9% pure silver and is used in some Rosa Alchimia pieces created through firing precious metal clay.
Silver naturally reacts with elements in the air and may gradually develop tarnish over time, this is completely normal and does not affect the quality of your jewellery.
Care tips:
• Store in your Rosa Alchimia box to avoid moisture and scratches
• Avoid prolonged contact with perfumes, lotions, oils, and harsh chemicals
• Clean gently with your jewellery polishing cloth when needed

14kt Gold-Filled
Gold-filled contains 5% solid gold by weight and is an industry standard legally requiring 1/20th pure gold. Unlike standard gold plating, it is created through a carefully regulated process where multiple layers of solid 14kt gold are pressure bonded with heat over a high-quality jeweller’s brass core, resulting in a durable and long-lasting real gold product.
Because the gold layer is significantly thicker than traditional gold plating, gold-filled jewellery is less likely to fade or wear quickly and is generally suitable for sensitive skin.
Care tips:
• Suitable for everyday wear and contact with water
• Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive products
• Store it in your Rosa Alchimia box to avoid moisture and scratches
• To maintain its shine, use your jewellery polishing cloth
• Every few wears, rinse gently with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry with a soft cloth
